OK, I'm in Phuket, Thailand - having a well earned holiday after clearing the house, etc. It's my second time to Thailand. The last time was in 2007 for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and also the year my Sandra got ill, so some sad memories too.
But hey ho, need to move on...
My hotel is very plush (see below), I'm sure I'll be moving down market once I get to Laos.

I love your blog Phil - and read it with great pride knowing my little brother is on the journey of his lifetime. I also know that there are many of us who would love to be with you and doing the exact same thing (Linda to mention just one of the hundreds) - stay safe but most of all embrace those new horizons. ReplyDeleteHi Annie, if you go to sharkeyrtw.blogspot.com you'll see all the posts and some of the photos. The internet in Laos is pretty slow so download/upload takes too long. I'm not going to spend all my adventure on the net! Love you loads.
